After relocating to Kansas City, Dr. Welding met Dr. John Faerber. They shared a common philosophy on how to approach dentistry. He was elated for the chance to carry on the legacy of Dr. Faerber's practice when the opportunity arose, and he purchased the practice in 2025. He is excited to continue the excellence in care, building long-term relationships and trust with patients. He is honored to maintain the long-standing presence in the community and carry on the family practice values Dr. Faerber emphasized.

Dr. Welding is committed to advancing his clinical skill and knowledge and utilizing the best available technology. He has completed continuing education courses with DOCS Education, Spear Academy, Hiossen Implant Education and other continuing education providers. He has certifications in both oral conscious and intravenous (IV) sedation and is a member of the Kansas Dental Association, American Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry.

Originally from Dallas, Texas, Dr. Welding now calls Kansas City home, which is where he met his wife, Giggy, who grew up in Leawood. In their spare time they love to walk, bike, explore new restaurants, travel and support KC sports. As an Iowa State Grad, Cody frequently travels back to Ames for games. Giggy is a Mizzou fan, with a KU history. Her father, Jay Reardon, and Dr. Faerber were fraternity brothers at University of Kansas and longtime friends. Giggy also works around the corner from the practice as a pediatric occupational therapist.
